Sensei Frank Klassen
Frank Klassen 2nd degree black belt in Ninjutsu is living his dream of owning and operating his own Martial Art Business and Training Center (Dojo). His career began in 2002 when he was inspired by Soke Robert Penner of Altona, Manitoba, to begin his journey in Martial Arts. Soke Penner is a mixed Martial Artist with a Black belt in Taekwondo and a Fourth Degree Black belt in Ninjutsu. In 2006 Frank earned his Black belt in Ninjutsu and the title of Sensei. He continues to train under Soke Penner’s tutelage. In 2010 he opened his first training center “Sasori Ryu Ninjutsu” respectfully following the methodology of Soke Penner.
In his pursuit of knowledge he began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2012. Under the instruction of Professor Chris Belbas of Forge Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in Winnipeg Manitoba, he earned his Blue belt Red band in February of 2015. His Instructor Professor Chris Belbas is a 5th Degree Black belt in Tatsumi Ryu Karate and a Black belt in Behring Brazilian Jiu Jitsu certified by Master Sylvio Behring of Brazil who personally attends all grading seminars.
Whats better than two Martial art styles? why Three of course. While training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Sensei Klassen filled his limited free time by enrolling in Chen style T’ai Chi through the Winnipeg Ching Wu Association. Under the direction of Sigung David Cliffe a T’ai Chi master, Sensei Klassen obtained his Level 1 teaching certification in 2015. Sensei Klassen looks forward to offering a safe fitness alternative to those who cannot conform to the traditional methods of exercise.
Sensei Klassen enjoys teaching all ages and offers Junior and Adult classes in 3 styles.
